(Washington: Linda Douglass) The key players and questions in the Whitewater case that will be investigated by a special counsel examined: the land deal between Bill and Hillary Clinton and James McDougal, who also ran the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan that failed in 1989; the issue of funds to Clinton's gubernatorial campaign; the role of the Clintons in Whitewater and representing McDougal and the issue of what the late Vince Foster knew about the deals.
