(Studio) Although Senator forgoes traditional recess at this time, many Senators not in DC.

(Capitol Hill) Senator Fin. Committee planned to vote on legislature to suspend President incrd. tariffs on oil imports, but there was no vote because not enough Senators present to make quorum. [Senator Russell LONG - says many Senators back in home districts making speeches.] [Senator Robert DOLE - says he's trying to sell President's program in DC, but that's hard to do without quorum.]
