(Los Angeles, California) Elizabeth Carmichael prime promoter of The Dale. [CARMICHAEL - says Dale will be built in `75.] Company begins selling stock and collecting cash advances from eager country. Mechanics work feverishly to build working model of car. Plan suddenly begins to fail. 5 top company officers arrested yesterday; fugitive warrants issued for Mrs. Carmichael and 4 Dale Vice Presidents; charged with conspiracy to commit theft. Irate investors want their money back. [Dale buyer Richard BISHOP - doesn't think anyone will get their money back.]
