(Capitol: Bob Schieffer) Representative Newt Gingrich's reversal of his controversial appointment of Christina Jeffrey to be the new House historian because of some quotes from her own past; scenes shown of Jeffrey's quotes in opposition to a school program on the holocaust and comments she made concerning the Ku Klux Klan. [Robert JEFFREY - says they will go back to Georgia.] [Representative Charles SCHUMER - compliments Gingrich's decision.] [Historian's assistant Lois KUBAL - says Gingrich previously knew of Jeffrey's remarks.] [Senator Robert DOLE - says in his view the matter is "history".]
