(Capitol: Bob Schieffer) The hot issue of welfare reform currently being debated by House members examined. [Representatives John LEWIS, Clay SHAW - offer differing opinions on the issue of welfare reform.] The Republican proposed welfare cuts that would hurt the poor, the nation's children and make qualification for existing programs more difficult if turned over to the states outlined. [Representative Charlie NORWOOD - says the current system encourages bad behavior.]
