(Studio) Supreme Court hears arguments on constitutionality of death penalty.

(DC) Since Supreme Court's decision on death penalty, 30 states make death sentence mandatory for certain crimes. Attorney Anthony Amsterdam argues against death penalty. North Carolina deputy attorney general Jean Benoy argues for death penalty. Solicitor General Robert Bork asks Court to preserve states' rights to pass death penalty laws.
