(Shinnecock, New York: Diana Olick) The recovery of a piece of the cockpit of TWA Flight 800, which may help explain the cause of the crash, featured; scenes shown of the damaged fuselage section and other parts of wreckage and of the salvage ships at sea. [NTSB vice chairman Robert FRANCIS, FBI James KALLSTROM - say the cockpit is a mass of wreckage.] The recovery of more bodies noted. Representative Newt Gingrich said visiting the wreckage site.
