(Studio) Major withdrawal of United States troops from Thailand announced.
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith

(DC) Some 120 American-built planes flown to Thailand by South Vietnam pilots being recovered by US. Planned United States withdrawal from Thailand has many political ramifications.
REPORTER: Frank Tomlinson

(Bangkok, Thailand) After Cambodia and South Vietnam, Thailand could be considered 3rd American defeat in Indochina. Withdrawal is slap in face for US. Thailand wants continued peace; many feel only way to insure that is to back away from US.
