(New York: Elizabeth Kaledin) The investigation into the New Jersey case in which racism against state troopers is charged featured; details given of what happened on April 23 when a carload of blacks and Hispanics was pulled over by two troopers, Kenna and John Hogan, who then fired on the car. [Attorneys Johnnie COCHRAN, Barry SCHECK, David IRONMAN - comment.] The history of racial complaints against New Jersey state troopers noted. [Temple University criminologist James FYFE - cites a discriminatory effect.]
