(Studio) President Ford sends his plan to conserve oil to Congress
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith

(DC) Ford meets with cabinet before sending plan to deregulate oil prices to Congress Congress has until Wednesday to accept or reject plan. Will probably reject. Congress to extend price controls with price rollback provision which Ford will veto. President will sign price control extension for 9 mos.
