(Studio) Defense Secretary Melvin Laird to leave for Vietnam Mar. 5 to make personal appraisal of war. Laird says lottery being considered as method for selecting military draftees. Draft study ends Mar. 15. Laird and Dep. Defense Secretary, David Packard, indicate plans for Sentinel anti-ballistic missile system will be continued. Packard says basic technology of system in good shape.
