(Cape Canaveral, Florida) Viking, launched by Titan Centaur rocket, is high-risk mission. NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) animation of flight shown. 2nd Viking to be launched September 1. Mission described. [Project manager James MARTIN - says if there is earth-like life, we'll find it.] Viking sterilized for flight. Not known if Mars worth manned flight.
