(Studio) Ford said logical Democratic presidential candidate is Senator Hubert H. Humphrey. Humphrey willing to run if convention hands him the nomination. Says won't enter primaries. Report on Young Democrats of American straw poll.

(Saint Louis, Missouri) 4 president candidates at meeting Rest sent representatives, except for George Wallace. [Representative Morris UDALL - criticizes Wallace.] Senator Birch Bayh made best impression but most delegates had their minds made up. [REP. - says choice is Sargent Shriver.] [2nd REP. - says Birch Bayh.] [3rd REP. - says Hubert Humphrey.] [4th REP. - says Fred Harris.] [5th REP. - says Harris.] [6th REP. - says Terry Sanford.] [7th REP. - says Jimmy Carter.] [8th REP. - says Carter.] [9th REP. - says Bayh.] [10th REP. - says Carter.] 10 names on ballot; space for write-in. Bayh, Carter and Udall were top 3. Humphrey had 53 write-ins.
