(Studio) Raft capsizes near Niagara Falls.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner

(Niagara Falls, New York) Rubber raft built for 30, capsized in rapids. 29 aboard. 21 swam ashore. 2 drown; 2 missing; 4 hurt. 6 copters on scene; couldn't land close to those inside gorge. Reunions at state park shown. [Survivor Joyce SMITH - describes incident.] Toronto busman. ordered raft built to start business of joy rides down rapids. Testing had occurred for days. Those riding were friends of busman.
