(Studio) Japanese Red Army terrorists exchange hostages for 5 comrades and 4 substitute hostages and leave Malaysia. Plane refueled at Sri Lanka and flew on to Libya.

(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Hostages exchanged in groups of 5 for flight crew, 2 representatives each from Japan and Malaysia and 5 prisoners from Japan. US consul Robert Stebbins wouldn't hold news conference [STEBBINS - says guns not pointed directly at hostages. Terrorists polite but determined.]
