(Sarajevo: Jackie Shymanski) Explosion at a NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) compound in Sarajevo that was manned by Italian and Portuguese soldiers featured; scenes shown from the area. Some other accidental incidents in Sarajevo reviewed. Meeting of peace coordinator with Carl Bildt and three future prime ministers reviewed.

(Pentagon: Jamie McIntyre) State of alert for the United States peacekeeping troops in Bosnia because of the possibility of a terrorist attack following the conviction of Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman on conspiracy charges, the continued presence of mujahadeen fighters and the sighting in Bosnia of known terrorist Cleven Holt, aka Isa Abdullah Ali, featured. [Secretary of Defense William PERRY - comments on the terrorist threat and Holt's background.] The extent of United States intelligence on the terrorist threats in Bosnia discussed.
