(Atlanta: Bob Lorenz) The aftershock of the first baseball playoff game between the Baltimore Orioles and the New York Yankees that was turned around by "the catch" by 12-year-old Jeff Maier, who reached over the wall to try to catch the fly ball hit by the Yankees' Derek Jeter, featured; scenes shown of the new kid celebrity. [MAIER - describes his attempted catch.] Tonight's Atlanta Braves-Saint Louis Cardinals game previewed. Announcement by the Los Angeles Dodgers of the signing of Bill Russell as manager noted.
