(Studio) Vince Lombardi awaits release from Green Bay Packers to go to Washington Redskins as head coach, general manager, and point owner. Packers won 5 NFL (National Football League) championships since 1959, when Lombardi went to Green Bay.

(Green Bay, WI) Under Lombardi, Green Bay Packers achieve fame and success. [LOMBARDI - says officials knew he was going to Washington. Edward Bennet Williams will still be president of Redskins. Will have another general manager beside self of Redskins. Packers will be fine; will be around long after Lombardi gone.] Town residents think Lombardi leaving bad for Packers.
