(Studio) In UT, convicted murderer Gary Gilmore back on death row in state prison following suicide attempt.
REPORTER: Barbara Walters

(UT State Prison) Gilmore rushed back to prison in police convoy. Gilmore tells escort he's sick of events; wants to get it over with. Nicole Barrett, Gilmore's girlfriend, now out of coma following suicide attempt also. [Nicole's DR. - describes patient's reaction after coming out of coma.] Gilmore to have no contact with other inmates now that he's in prison again. [Prison OFFICIAL - says no physical contact to be allowed between Gilmore and relatives or attorney] All plans for Gilmore's requested execution complete if UT's board of pardons decides to allow it.

(Studio) Nicole's mother Kathryn Baker says she knew daughter and Gilmore were planning suicide but couldn't talk her out of it. Calls Gilmore another Charles Manson.
