(Studio) Major crime on decline, FBI says, but not in San Francisco.

(San Francisco, California) 32% rise in violent crime here. Nos. noted. [Police supervisor Al NELDER - says there are 250 fewer policemen on force. Exs. of crime noted.] [San Francisco police chief, Charles GAIN - states his police force doesn't have resources commensurate with quantity of crime.] [1st WOMAN - reports her being assaulted last Christmas.] [2nd WOMAN - notes burglary of friend's apt.] Authorities hope crackdown will be effective this coming wkend.
