(Studio: Ralph Begleiter) The capture of the northern Iraqi town of Sulaimaniya by the Iraqi-backed Kurdistan Democratic Party, which overran two other cities this weekend, and word that President Clinton's administration in considering further expanding the no-fly zone over Iraq reported.

(Studio: Hilary Bowker) Statements from President Clinton and presidential candidate Bob Dole about the situation in northern Iraq presented. [CLINTON - says the Kurdish factions need to return to the peace table.] Dole's written statement quoted. Iran's request for international help in dealing with the refugee crisis noted.
