(Algeria: Robert Moore) The elections in wartorn Algeria, where the people have been living in a climate of fear due to the 6-year battle between the government and radical Islamic forces featured; scenes shown from the election campaign in Algiers, of armed local militias and a village assaulted by extremists. [Algerian Prime Minister Ouhahia AHMED - defends the role of security forces.] The murder of 60 journalists in this civil war and the fear of further massacres noted.
