(Studio) Reporter notes bomb scare in Carter's Washington, DC transition headquarters In Plains, Georgia, talk with regard to possible tax cut next year

(Plains, Georgia) Sunday OMB director-designate Bert Lance says tax cut almost certain; today Carter comments on issue. [CARTER - says it's not certain and he's not leaning any way with regard to tax cut yet.] Uncertainty is from uncertain economy factors and how Carter will deal with Congress [CARTER - says it will be joint decision with congress leaders] If Carter announced cut now he might antagonize Al Ullman, chairperson of House committee which writes tax bills, who opposes tax cut now.
