(Atlanta, Georgia) Carter spent night at governor's mansion; Mondale, Hamilton Jordan and Charles Kirbo arrive in morning. Being interviewed today are Georgia Representative Andrew Young; former IBM Vice President Jane Cahill Pfeiffer, possible choice for Commerce Secretary; California Polytechnic University president Harold Brown, candidate for Defense Secretary; Washington Representative Brock Adams, possibly up for Secretary of Transportation; Bendix Corporation president Michael Blumenthal, being considered for Secretary of Commerce or Treasury [YOUNG - says he's only here as friend.] [ADAMS - says he'd leave Congress if Carter wanted him to do so.] Carter goes to Washington, DC after interviews; will stay in Blair House
