(Pecatonica, Illinois) Republican activists in Winnebago Cnty. tally Ford vote. Ford won 59% of town's Republican vote. [Republican cmteman. Nord SWANSTROM - says Ford has shown ability to lead US.] Carter wins 47% of town's Democratic vote. [Democratic commiteeman. Henry HACKMEISTER - says Carter won't be Democratic candidate unless he picks up big state delegates. Thinks Humphrey has organization and know-how to be candidate.] Ford and Carter's advertising campaigns worked well here.
