(Mozambique-Rhodesia Border) Decision to close border will hurt both cntrys. Major of Rhodesian exports had entered Mozambique by rail for shipment; only route available now is through South Africa. Mozambique President for incrd. guerrilla pressure on Rhodesian white minority rule.

(Salisbury, Rhodesia) Pressure is the strongest for black major rule. Premier Ian Smith and black leaders seem far apart. Smith prefers transition over 20-yr. period.
