(Studio) Report on Patricia Hearst trial.
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith

(San Francisco, California) Prosecution witness, Dr. Joel Fort, says Hearst participated in bank robbery as willing SLA member Physician and criminologist Fort, who has psychiatric training, says Hearst strong-willed, independent and rebellious. Describes Hearst as amoral. Fort says Hearst thought of suicide before her upcoming marriage to Steven Weed. Fort comments on her friendship and sexual relations with SLA members He says closet where Hearst was kept not all that bad.
