(Studio) 102nd Kentucky Derby to be run Saturday Favored to win is Honest Pleasure. Last year s winner was Foolish Pleasure.

(Kentucky) What A Pleasure is 11 year old horse; recently sold for $8 million. His stud fee is $30,000 and $60,000 if live foal is produced. [Co-owner Tim SAMS - explains why What A Pleasure is great sire.] In 1951, horse named Mass Ruler came from Ireland. 24% of his offspring became major stakes winners. Bold Ruler was 1 of his offspring; What A Pleasure related to Hold Ruler. 1975 Kentucky Derby winner Foolish Pleasure sired by What A Pleasure. Honest Pleasure won last 8 races in row; he's 1/2 brother of Foolish Pleasure. [Trainer Leroy JOLLEY - compares traits of Foolish Pleasure and Honest Pleasure.] Bold Forbes will probably be only competition Honest Pleasure will have. ABC film shows him at Aqueduct. Bold Ruler is Bold Forbe's grandfather.
