(San Antonio, Texas) The Alamo representatives major issue between Ford and Ronald Reagan. Ford organization arrives at Kelly Air Force Base where 1200 workers laid off in a Pentagon cut. [FORD - says Kelly cut came about as result of congress action.] Ford tours Alamo. [FORD - says American will never give away military advantage to potential enemy.] Ford organization hopes for large month of Texas delegates. Senator John Tower says Reagan's effort looks like desperation campaign.
