(Detroit, Michigan) Ronald Reagan feels he'll make good showing in Ford's home state. [REAGAN - says he'll try hard to win. Defeat will hurt Ford more than him.] Reagan speaks of economy [REAGAN - cites his economy beliefs re: people's attitudes.] Ford to conduct Michigan whistle-stop campaign. Reagan to depend on television advertising.
