(Crested Butte, Colorado) Callaway admits trying to influence Forest Service decision to permit him to expand his ski resort. Says he was trying to expedite the decision. [Senator Dale BUMPERS - asks Callaway whether he felt any constraints with regard to his private activities and public life.] [CALLAWAY - says Defense Department representatives entitled to look after their own business interests like anyone else. Spent 5 minute per day on personal business Made 1 telephone call with regard to Crested Butte.] No date set for subcommittee report Forest Service decision still in limbo.
