(s) Grain exporting companies, Cook Inds., Incorporated and Mississippi River Grain Elevator, Incorporated, fined $430,000 together after pleading no contest to charges of short-weighing grain shipments.

(Near New Orleans, Louisiana) 3 Cook representatives accused of creating plan to steal grain from customers. Thievery methods noted. Mississippi River Grain accused of stealing grain from 1968-74. Plan put together by Vice President Giovanni Rametta, now fugitive in Switzerland. Methods noted. 37 indictments against 57 defendants returned by grand jury so far. 52 convicted so far.
