(Studio) Federal Virginia grand jury hands out indictments with regard to Kepone poisoning,

(Hopewell, Virginia) Indictments include 1000 counts of illegal dumping of Kepone into waterways around the Allied Chemical plant. City of Hopewell, Allied and Life Science Products Company indicted. United States attorney William Cummings says most serious charges aimed at Allied and 5 Hopewell representatives who are accused of covering up illegal dumping of Kepone. Allied could be fined $17 million.
