(Studio) Jimmy Carter rests at Sea Island, Georgia. He visits New York Democratic delegation.

(NYC) Carter meets with Representative Morris Udall. [UDALL - says name of Democratic nominee is evident. Won't release delegates or make endorsement due to convention technicalities.] Udall says delegates free individually if they want to vote for Carter. Carter meets with New York Governor Hugh Carey and NYC Mayor Abraham Beame. [CARTER - grateful for support no matter how late. Notes Bible story.] California Governor Edmund Brown Junior warmly received when he addressed New York delegates.
