(Studio) Midwest storm causes 2 deaths and 45 injuries in Chicago suburb.

(Lemont, Illinois) Aftermath of tornado noted. [WOMAN - says it all happened so fast.] [2nd WOMAN - describes extent of damages.] [MAN - says he prayed a lot.] [3rd WOMAN - grateful to be alive.] [4th WOMAN - feels lucky to be alive.]

(Studio) Chicago floodwaters forced motorists off the expressway into the South side ghetto where gangs tried to extort money from travelers. Suburban man, Leo Anderson, refused to pay $10 to gang. His wife was killed, he was injured and 3 of their 6 children hurt by flying glass. 7 other ghetto acts of violence occurred against motorists.
