(Cape Kennedy, Florida) Apollo VII crew shown at 8:14 a.m. EDT going to launch complex. Countdown, liftoff and separation of Apollo VII shown.

(Cape Kennedy, Florida) 2 1/2 minute into flight, 1st stage discarded. Spacecraft in orbit after 10 minute 2nd stage discarded after 3 hrs. and simulated docking with it. Communications between ground and craft good. Astronauts' voices via Carnarvon, Australia, heard. Apollo VII to rendezvous for 2nd time with 2nd stage. NBC to carry pictures from Apollo VII as they are received If mission success, Apollo may be sent to orbit moon and come back.
