(Studio) Report on integration.
REPORTER: Chet Huntley
(Shaker Hgts., Ohio) Suburb near Cleveland. Negroes 20% of students. 3 groups try to stabilize each neighborhood with regard to integration. Poor Negroes don't come here. Some Negroes influenced by ghetto's black power movement. Human relations classes started. [BLACK - describes Jew as penny pincher and rich. Blacks in Shaker Hgts. not stereotype.] [GIRL - refutes black's argument.] [2nd GIRL - says used to have 1 good friend as Negro that wasn't rich.] Integration controlled, gradual, and works.
