(Studio) Richard Nixon urges Cabinet selections to have frequent news conferences. David Kennedy, George P. Shultz, Melvin Laird hold conference. Shultz opposes strikes by public employees, and much federal government interference in labor disputes. Laird hopes by next Pentagon-budget time, late 1969, Vietnam war is over. Others hope and believe shooting to be over long before that.
