(Convention Hall) All indications show victory for Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey on 1st ballot. Senator Edward Kennedy says he won't accept President or Vice President nomination. Mayor Richard Daley swings his support and 112 of 118 votes to Vice President 1,312 needed. Humphrey forces say they have 1,700. Vice President finishes acceptance speech. Visits Connecticut delegation.
