(Miami Beach, Florida) [SPOKESPERSON - introduces Reagan as California governor and next President.] Crowd welcomes Reagan. Organizational methods visible at his hotel. Reagan insists it's happening naturally. [REAGAN - says it'll be up to delegates Wednesday.] Reagan excels in personal contact. Met 6 groups yesterday; 12 today. [Georgia delegate Frank MILLER - says electing candidates from bottom is answer to George Wallace in South.] [Georgia delegate Roscoe PICKETT - predicts Reagan will be nominated if Nixon isn't.]

(Studio) Rockefeller says he didn't expect any surprises between now and Wednesday's balloting.

(Miami Beach, Florida) Rockefeller's campaign colorful and expensive. Pressure great on uncommitted delegates. Rockefeller headquarters shown. Visits Illinois delegation. Senator Charles Percy is Rockefeller booster, but most of group for Nixon. 48 of 58 for Nixon. [ROCKEFELLER - says Republican delegates afraid they might not win if front runner picked. Commitments to be honored on first ballot, but will erode afterwards.

(Miami Beach, Florida) Nixon calmly spent weekend in Long Island, New York, resort. Crowd awaits Nixon arrival. Rally at his Hilton headquarters after his arrival. Courting favorite son groups of Ohio, Michigan, Maryland and others. Nixon works on acceptance speech; to pick running mate but will ask convention to approve choice.
