(Studio) Report on Caril Ann Fugate's parole.
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith

(York, Nebraska) Fugate was 14 years old when arrested for murder of 10 in Nebraska and Wyoming with her boyfriend, Charles Starkweather, 19. 1958 film shown. Starkweather executed in 1969; Fugate received life sentence. Fugate paroled after 18 years No testimony against her parole. Prison officials were for her parole. [FUGATE - says year has been emotional.] [Bd. MBR. - announces parole grant.] Fugate says she wants to get married and have family. Parole board wishes her luck.
