(Studio) Assistant Attorney General Jerris Leonard says critics of administration desegregation policy don't know what they're talking about. Leonard fired 1 of 65 dissenting Justice Department Attys. yesterday.

(DC) [Attorney Gary GREENBERG - says Mississippi actions inconsistent with clearly defined legal mandates. Couldn't defend government's position. Leonard said he'd lost confidence in my ability to represent Attorney General.] [LEONARD - says manpower wasn't there to bring lawsuits into all segregated school districts. But if Court says so, we'll enforce orders now.]
