(Studio) 70,000 police mobilized for Japan anti-American riots. 1400 arrested.

(Tokyo, Japan) Student protest in railroad station shown. They hurl firebombs at police in sts. 1000s Socialists, Communists, and Labor Unionists join in rally, calling for end to Vietnam, Okinawa to be given back, and end to American bases in Japan. Fires set and autos burned. 1100 arrested here; 300 elsewhere in Japan. Students to prevent P.Min. Sato's departure to Washington, DC on November 17.
