(Studio) French shopkeepers angry again.
REPORTER: David Brinkley
(Paris, France) Shopkeepers angry at progress in general. They want to preserve their personal way of life. Their enemy is efficiency; i.e. automated grocery store and bigger stores. 20,000 shopkeepers meet to protest taxes and protection against supermarket spread. They helped Pompidou in election, but stand in way of his modernization plans. 2000 shopkeepers riot after rally.
