(Studio) American student in Jerusalem testifies that Denis Michael Rohan boasted of bribing guards at El Aksa Mosque and set fire to it. Defense admits Rohan set fire to mosque, and claims he was mentally ill; his actions were not premeditated.

(Jerusalem, Israel) Israel wants to convince world it wasn't involved in arson. Guard heavy at trial. Prosecution cites 2 previous arson attempts. Rohan signed confession. In it he stresses fundamentalist beliefs. Arab ntlists. won't believe Rohan alone responsible.
