Staff infighting results in president TV adviser, Robert Mead, quitting. Press Secretary Ron Nessen blames Mead for near comical coverage by PBS of state dinner for Queen Elizabeth. PBS's July 7 film shown. PBS apologizes to Mead ; says he wasn't responsible for coverage errors. Nixon speechwriter, David Gergen, takes over office of communication with supervision over next television adviser.
