(Studio) Senator passes Tax Reform Bill 69-22, loaded down with goodies. President Nixon says he'll veto it as it is. Bill must go to Cong Committee 1st.

(Studio) 2 pts. of bill could cost government $12 billion. That is: tax exemption boost to $800 and Social Security increase of 15%. Rest of bill to cost $9 billion. Always political attractive to cut taxes.
