(Montreal, Canada) International Olympic Committee prepares for showdown with Canada over Canada's ban on letting Taiwan athletes participate under flag of Republican of China. Premier Pierre Elliot Trudeau says he didn't care what flag Taiwan athletes flew or what national anthem they sang. Taiwan group meets to decide if they will call selves Republican of China. United States Olympic committee has threatened to withdraw from Olympic games if Canada didn't bend to IOC. President Ford also supports compromise. Olympics are still in jeopardy.
