(South Bend, IN) Youth, poor, and blacks supported Senator Kennedy in IN. Notre Dame has Kennedy seminar. Former press secretary, Mankiewicz, says many early Kennedy supporters voted for Wallace. [MANKIEWICZ - thinks Kennedy supporters who voted for Wallace didn't care about race; for Wallace because he was against established order. Kennedy's ideas and spirit of reconciliation must remain.]
