(Studio) Trial of Clay Shaw, charged with plotting to kill President John F. Kennedy, begins.

(New Orleans, Louisiana) District Attorney Jim Garrison says Clay Shaw conspired with Lee Harvey Oswald and others to kill Kennedy. Defense Attorney Irvin Dymond argues Dallas assassination events not related to conspiracy. Garrison to prove Warren Commission report wrong. Dymond says defense to prove key witness, Perry Russo, a liar. Much of Warren Commission Report will be tested under oath for 1st time.
